Go-Forth Exterminators, Inc. began in High Point in 1959 when its founder, Frank Goforth, was able to fulfill his dream of a local company serving the community with honest & professional services. Frank fully retired in 1996 and passed away in July 2003 and has quite a few family members involved in owning and operating pest control businesses. Chuck Hazelwood, son-in-law to Frank, now owns the company. His son, Chase, serves as the General Manager.
Go-Forth has a rich history of service and quality in the Triad. In 2000 the company’s name was changed to Go-Forth Pest Management, Inc. But the same values that started back in 1959 still run through the company in every area of the business. Charles (Chuck) Hazelwood - President
Charles (Chuck) Hazelwood began working for his father-in-law, Frank Goforth, in 1980, at the Asheboro branch of the company. Chuck came back to High Point in 1983 as General Manager of the company and he moved the company to its present location in 1988. Chuck has been very active in the High Point community, serving in many capacities. He was elected Small Business Person of the Year in 1999 by the High Point Chamber of Commerce. Chuck has also been active in The North Carolina Pest Control Association since the mid 1980's serving as President in 1998. He was also elected a regional vice-president of the National Pest Management Association has also served on many boards associated with his Industry. Chuck was one of the founders of the NCPCA Wood Destroying Insect Report Accreditation program, and served as co-chair and director of the NCPCA Pest Control technician's School for several years. Chuck is an avid golfer, and lives with his wife Suzanne just outside High Point. They have two grown children, Chase and Molly. Chase and his wife Leah work for Go-Forth as well. "Our business is about building relationships," Chuck says. "Although it's very special to be able to work with your immediate family, we feel we have a family relationship with our staff and our clients."
Chase Hazelwood - General Manager
Chase Hazelwood began working full time for the company upon graduation from UNC-Charlotte with degrees in Business Management and in Marketing. Chase is a member of the High Point Home Builder's Association and regularly attends State and National Pest Control Association meetings as well as schools and workshops provided by N. C. Structural Pest Control Division. Chase is highly skilled in identifying wood destroying organisms as well as the damage they cause. Chase is served as the Regional Vice President of the North Carolina Pest Management Association. Chase lives in Greensboro with his wife Leah and young son.
Suzanne Goforth Hazelwood - Vice President
Suzanne Goforth Hazelwood began working for Go-Forth as a young girl answering telephones when the company was started by her parents Frank and Johnie Goforth. She has worked in all areas of the office and is now Vice President and has accounting duties.
Leah Hazelwood - Director of Marketing and Customer Service
Leah Hazelwood began working for Go-Forth in 2009 as the Director of Marketing and Customer Service. Her responsibilities include management of the central office in High Points, as well as overseeing all marketing and PR efforts for the company. Leah graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with majors in Advertising and History and worked at an ad agency for several years before joining Go-Forth. Leah lives with her husband Chase (Go-Forth's GM) and their young son in Greensboro.
Doug Armstrong - Account Manager
Doug is one of Go-Forth's most tenured employees, having been with the company since April 1995. Doug is a Certified Applicator and manages Go-Forth's Kernersville, Archdale and Sophia pest control routes. He was born in Elizabeth City, NC but now lives in Kernersville with his wife of 36 years. Doug has a son and daughter. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and was ordained in 1976. In his free time Doug enjoys reading, water sports and skiing, and church activities at the Evangelical Methodist Church, where he serves as a supply pastor.
Paul Gunter - Account Manager and Bed Bug Expert
Paul is one of Go-Forth's tenured employees, having been with the company since May 2000. Paul is a Certified Applicator and manages a large portion of Go-Forth's High Point route. He is one of Go-Forth's bed bug experts and is highly trained in bed bug inspection and treatment. Paul was born in High Point and graduated from Trinity High School. He now lives in Archdale with his wife and two daughters. Outside of work Paul serves the Youth Director, Children's Church Leader, Adult Sunday School Teacher and drummer at the First Baptist Church of Archdale.
Freddie Compton - Account Manager
Freddie has been an important member of the Go-Forth team since October 2001. Freddie manages Go-Forth's Winston Salem, Thomasville, High Rock, Bayden, Lexington and New London pest control routes. He was born in High point and now resides in Thomasville. Freddie enjoys spending time with his 4 children and six grandchildren. Outside of work Freddie loves sports and motorcycle riding.
Jamie Hill - Customer Service Manager
Jamie has been a part of the Go-Forth team since September 2004. Jamie works in the High Point office as our customer service manager and also helps with administrative duties for the termite department. Jamie was born in Archdale and graduated from Trinity High School. She now lives in Thomasville with her husband and two young children.
Dennis Foster - WDI Supervisor and Pretreat Manager
Dennis has been with Go-Forth since July 2006. Dennis was named "Technician of the Year" in 2009 by the North Carolina Pest Management Association. Dennis earned this title due to his outstanding work as one of the state's top technicians for pest management in the wood destroying insects phase. He was recognized amongst his peers for exemplary leadership, knowledge and experience. Dennis led Go-Forth's wood destroying insect and pretreat divisions for many years, and is an expert on termite prevention and treatment. He was recently proomoted to an account manager position in the Pest Control department and serves Asheboro and surrounding areas. He was born in High Point and now lives in Trinity. Dennis welcomed a daughter into the world in May 2009. In his free time Dennis enjoys fishing and hunting.
Reico Gilmore - Account Coordinator
Reico began working at Go-Forth in May 2007. He served as a pest control Account Manager for many years, serving Go-Forth's Greensboro, Pleasant Garden, Browns Summit, Jamestown, Summerfield and Whitsett customers. Reico recently joined our office staff as an Account Coordinator and has administrative duties in our High Point office. He was born in Charlotte, NC and now resides in High Point. Reico has attended two years of college and in his free time he enjoys spending time with his two daughters and his wife. Reico also enjoys shopping and traveling.
Brad Hege - Account Manager
Brad joined Go-Forth in August 2008. Brad manages a large portion of the High Point pest control route. He was born in Thomasville and now lives in Trinity. Brad attended Trinity High School and likes spending time with his parents, 3 brothers and 2 nephews. Brad also enjoys attending church, playing basketball, classic cars and Harleys, and reading.
Mike Smith - Account Manager
Mike has been with Go-Forth since November 2008. Mike manages Go-Forth's Sophia, Randleman, Trinity, Hopewell and Liberty pest control routes. He was born in High Point and now lives in Flint Hill with his wife. Mike has three children and attended GTCC following high school. In his free time Mike enjoys music, horse back riding, and sports.
Jessica Hill - Account Coordinator
Jessica has been with Go-Forth since June 2009. She works in the main office and her responsibilities include customer relations, new sales and recordkeeping. Jessica is originally from High Point, but lived in Asheville for several years before returning to High Point. In her free time Jessica enjoys spending time with family and friends.
Chris Page - Account Manager and Bed Bug Expert
Chris came to work at Go-Forth in July 2010 and has worked in both the termite and pest control departments. He is also one of our bed bug experts, and specializes in apartment complex pest management. He services Go-Forth's High Point, Greensboro, Jamestown and Burlington customers. Chris was born in Chapel Hill and currently lives in Graham. He graduated from Bartlett Yancey High School. In his spare time he enjoys his dog, sports, and auto racing.
Dave Koch - Account Manager, WDO Supervisor
David became a member of the Go-Forth team in August 2010. As an account manager, Dave provides pest control services to our customers in Winston Salem, Walnut Cove, Clemmons and surrounding areas. Dave was also recently promoted to WDO Supervisor and managers all of Go-Forth's termite, insulation and utility business. Dave was born in Greensboro and now lives in Winston Salem with his wife and 2 daughters. Dave is attending Forsyth Tech for Business Admin, and is very involved in his church. He loves spending time with his family.
Rod Evangelista-Villares - Termite Technician
Rod joined the Go-Forth Termite Team in 2009. He performs a variety of services for Go-Forth's customers from temite treatments to moisture barrier to insulation to gutter guards and much more. Rod lives with his family in High Point.
Mark Herms - Go-Forth Lawn Services Manager & Horticulturalist
Mark is Go-Forth's Lawn Service Manager. He came to Go-Forth with a B.S. Degree in Agricultural Extension and Education with a concentration in Horticulture from N.C. State University. His resume includes much experience with horticulture and turf management, and specialization in lawn care products and application techniques. As a horticulturalist, Mark custom-crafts all of our lawn treatments. Using his extensive knowledge and experience with lawn care, he designs each and every lawn treatment for each customer's unique lawn needs. Mark lives in Graham with his wife and two children.
Nathan Yates - Account Manager
Nathan joined the Go-Forth team in April 2011. He serves as a pest control Account Manager in the High Point area. Nathan also has experience in Go-Forth's termite department so is very adept at recognizing termite evidence. Nathan lives in High Point.
Justin Bost - Account Manager
Justin came to Go-Forth in April 2011. He spent his first months working in our office as an Account Coordinator, and was then promoted to a pest control Account Manager. Justin manages our Greensboro, Summerfield, Browns Summit and Whitsett customer accounts. Justin lives in Archdale with his long-time girlfriend and two young sons.
Peter Weiss - Account Manager
Peter joined Go-Forth in April 2011. Peter serves as a pest control Account Manager in the Thomasville and High Point areas. Peter lives with his wife and two daughters in Greensboro, NC.
Cameron Smith - Account Manager
Cameron came on board at Go-Forth in June 2011. He serves as a pest control Account Manager in the High Point area. Cameron also has experience in Go-Forth's termite department so is very adept at recognizing termite evidence. Cameron lives in Winston Salem.
