Peppermint Oil

Sugar & Water
Aside from preventing them from entering your home, you can actually draw them in and trap them in a container using a sugar and water trap. It is quite easy.
1. Get a plastic bottle (3 liter) and cut off the top
2. Flip the top part and stick both ends together with duct tape
3. Fill the bottle up with a little vinegar, sugar and water and place close to their nest
4. They will eventually fly into the bottle and you can trap them inside it.
